For the past few months, my Forerunner 945 has been experiencing issues with the altimeter during outdoor activity tracking. As shown in the two examples attached, the device either records an incorrect altitude (apparently placing me below sea level, which I assure you is not the case) or fails to register any altitude variation throughout the activity.
I’ve already contacted Garmin support, and they offered a discount on a new Forerunner 955. However, since the watch is only four years old, I’d like to give it one last shot before replacing it.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution?
