My 745 broke down the other day, so I decided to upgrade to the 955. Turns out I didn't do my research well: this supposedly upgraded watch can't disable countdowns between steps in an interval workout? I use the watch for pre-planned workouts that I've been adding to Garmin connect for the longest time, but try doing yoga with 5-seconds countdown-timer, when most steps are 10 seconds long? It just doesn't work. I'm on my sixt Garmin device, and I'm seriously considering to quit Garmin for good now. Such a basic functionality, that was there, and then they took it away? Extremely disappointed.
