I started doing 5k and marathons and installed strava and have noticed across everywhere else garmins off by 4 seconds on my pace and a minute on my distances. Not cool. This watch is not accurate for some reason.

4 seconds is not much. The pace on the watch got a 5 second resolution.
A minute on the distance. What does that mean?
So any run I do add a minute to it. I did a 5k and my watch says 2045 but I placed 2015 on the timed event. I ran 23 miles and it adds one extra minute compared to strava.
I know it's not that different but its still off. Stravas more accurate. Since Icnoticed with then5k event totally different times. Now I am paying attention
The time is correct. It is from when you press start until you press stop. Strava adjusts the tine and removes time standing still unless it is a race. For races the full time will be used.
In the image from Strava it says Moving time.
Ok I wonder if it noticed I used the bathroom then.lol
The pace will be different since a different time is used in the calculation.
