Hi there, iv been out walking in torrential rain for hours & my garmin 945 forerunner has stopped working, it won’t switch on & can’t be charged Can you advise me what steps to take now please. Regards Colin

I would try holding the top left button (light) for a very long time 30-60 seconds and see if anything happens.

On my 945 the charger doesn't always makes contact so I have to move it around a bit before it starts to charge. Also clean the charger pins in the cable contact and the charger port in the watch with isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip.

If you can't get it too boot up or charge then it is probably broken.
