Activity does not sync to Garmin Connect

I recently did a Triathlon. After the race I synced my watch to the Garmin connect app. The triathlon is not showing up on Garmin connect even though it is showing up on my watch. I’ve tried to restart both phone and watch, I’ve made sure the softwares are up to date. I have a Forerunner 945 and have never had this issue before.

if I do another activity that activity syncs immediately just like normal. Could anyone help me in getting this triathlon activity onto Garmin connect? I’d love to be able to get it there so I can then also sync with Strava.

Try a manual upload from your Garmin device to Garmin Connect Web - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. Attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Thank you for the answer. So I´ve been trying to access this Garmin folder for a few hours now but with no luck. I´ve used the link you provided, then since I have a device with music I´ve used the steps for that. But with my device connected and Garmin Express connected and updated etc. When I go as directed: Finder - Go - Computer there is no "Garmin" drive there to locate any files. Do you have any suggestions? I no not have a Windows computer so that's not an option.

Sounds like you have a Mac? I would try using the android file transfer app.

Ok, I think I found it. I tried the suggested way of uploading the file here but It does not have an option for "click upload" after I clicked Insert and Image/video/file.

I think I got it to upload to dropbox if that works?

Suggestion to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files - Sync your device then remove all activity fit files from your Garmin device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
