charging watch

I noticed that for some reason my watch is not charging, or if they do, it takes a days to fully charge, by using my roomate adapter. when im trying to do that with my adapter it drains out my battery completely. Is it a time to change a cable? or completely change the watch?

    Does the screen shows a charge connection? I know my connection in the back of the watch was unreliable. Sometimes it charged, sometimes it did not. After a good clean it is fixed.

    Please check if there is some corrosion at the small pins of the watch and or the cable. If you have, use a magnifying glass. The rusty spots are sometimes very small and hard to see. I had it once on the pins of the watch and the charging was not very stable. I finally had contact to garmin and got an exchange.

    it does show connection, but wouldn't charge through charger adapter. so now i'm charging through the computer. and it seems to be working. Thank you so much for your response.
