Garmin 945 disconnects every day

My Garmin 945 disconnects from my Connect app every single day. It is very difficult to get it to reconnect. Sometimes I have to shut off the phone, delete the app, reload it, repair it through the watch itself, there does not seem to be one simple fix. This has been going on for about three months. Is there a fix for this, or is it time to look at other watches besides Garmin? The same issue happened last year, I downloaded updates and it seemed to fix it, that does not seem to fix it this time.
