Jump Rope activity for FR945

When can we expect a real Jump Rope activity for Forerunner 945? Jump Rope App doesn't give badges.

    Probably never since no new functions are added to this watch.

    Just log with the Jump Rope app if you want to get the count. Edit the type to Jump Rope in Garmin Connect to get the badges.

    Note that you will likely not get the 30 minutes jump rope badge that way. If you instead log it with strength and change type to Jump Rope it should work for that badge.

    The 15000 rep count badge is currently not possible to get with FR945. I think you should be able to log an activity and then use Fit file repair tool to edit the rep count, but I haven't tried it yet since I don't have a FIT file from the stock Jump Rope app from the newer watches.

    This watch has been out for a long time, 5yrs (early 2019 it looks like), beyond their typical 'upgrade/updates' continuing. Could possibly be still under support based updates as needed for critical bugs or security...  currently based on the fact that there hasn't been a Beta firmware in the mix for 9mo+... i'd say nails in the coffin...

    if there were going to be any more updates, you would probably see it on the beta post there from Garmin... would be a warning of possible updates coming down the pipe.
