Heart rate measurement with dropouts

I'm having an issue with my FR945 v13 where the heart rate has dubious peaks during runs that stabilize after a certain time on their own. Example attached. The problem also occurs on other watches with different firmware versions and has been extensively discussed in the corresponding subforums of the watches. Does anyone else have this problem on a 945? Will there be a new firmware update? Garmin is welcome to contact me by email or look into my account. Unfortunately, the German support did not understand my problem but suggested submitting a feature request. Thank you.

No. It also does not happen every run. Very strange.

Better use a belt during workouts. in daily monitoring it is fine at wrist. rest useless.

PLUS ! you are missien nice running data. such a expensive watch not to be used where it is build for

If using optical on wrist this can happen, happens more with some people than others. How tight watch is, wrist size, fat, skin color and temperature can all effect wrist sensor accuracy. Make sure it is nice and snug before you head out on a run/bike. Want that sensor snug/tight, so that it is pushed into wrist and no sunlight can get at the sensor.
