945 wont connect to Express

I am trying to add music to my forerunner 945. Garmin Express will not recognize it. It's connect directly to the desktop. Tried restarting everything. No help.

Have you tried to delete and reinstalled the GE app on desktop?

Is it a windows machine ? do you see the device drive itself on explorer (or on a Mac using Android file manager)

Its windows. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. still nothing.

Do you see the watch in File Explorer when it is connected to the computer so you can browse the file system on the watch?

Try a different USB port and cable.
