945 Bluetooth paring failed

After the exercise today, I tried to connect it to my iPhone, but I have waited for a long time, and finally the green light next to the watch icon in GARMIN connect app was gone. I have tried explaining that might help. Reboot the devices and connect to Mac but it still doesn’t work. The app can find the 945 and the paring is failed. I have used in less than 2 years, wish it can be fixed.

I can’t seem to reconnect my device to Garmin Connect either. I was trying to disconnect from another device to set up on iphone but it keeps failing. My phone is finding the device, but failed to complete setup on Connect.

The problem is definitely the watch because it’s doing the same thing with multiple devices.

Make sure you always remove the watch from bluetooth devices on the phone(s) before you try to add it to Garmin Connect again.

Yeah it’s been removed from every device in the Bluetooth settings. In fact when I try to pair the device to Garmin Connect I can see it trying to add itself to my iphone in the Bluetooth settings but it ultimately fails after the “pairing failed” message appears in Connect. Thanks though for taking the time to help.

I contacted Garmin Support by phone and they said it needed to be replaced free of charge. Just sent it in. Outstanding customer support as usual.

Since fw 13.00 my forerunner 945 does Not sync on Main watchface.

I have to Foto Sports/Training select (upper right Button) to get Bluetooth Connection.

Even for pairing (after facory reset) i needed to Start in settings the pairing process and Change to Sports/Training select (upper right Button)

I'd Like to know ist there a way to revert Update and Go Beck to Previews fw?

Hi, I have the same problem as you. After updating to version 13, the bluetooth is not working. WiFi GPS are working. How can I revert to a lower firmware version?
