Triathlon activity doesn't sync

Hi folks.

I finished Ironman 70.3 today and the triathlon activity I recorded on my Gamin Forerunner 945 doesn't sync to Garmin Connect. I tried to upload it to Garmin Connect manually but it tells me that the file type is not supported.

What can be done with it?
