My watch auto-updated with 12.10 earlier this week - we’ve only just got the update in Asia as Garmin treats us as second-class citizens. Yesterday I was walking and noted that my altitude wasn’t increasing so I stopped the activity and the output showed that I was descending into negative altitude, which as I was climbing UP Victoria Peak in Hong Kong is most definitely NOT the case. So I started a new activity and that recorded correctly. Today the watch won’t save on Garmin Connect. The app recognises the watch as it gives current step count, altitude etc. but it saves none of this info or activity info. I don’t want to reset the watch for fear of losing the data - should I be worried about this or not? It seems too much of a coincidence that I have two big issues a day after the new firmware downloaded.
