F945 in the pool swiming mode does not register correctly my kind of stokes.

Hi people

I have been noticing an issue with my F945 when I mix the kind of strokes in a lap, my F945 registers correctly for my freestyle but often confuses the freestyle with my breaststroke and the backstroke.

I will appreciate your support on it.

Thanks

  • Hello DiegoRun25,

I understand that you're experiencing an issue with your Garmin F945 watch when it comes to tracking the different strokes during swimming. If your watch is incorrectly identifying the strokes or confusing freestyle with breaststroke or backstroke, there are a few steps you can take to improve the accuracy:

    1. Check your swimming technique: Ensure that you are performing the strokes correctly and with proper form. Inaccurate stroke identification can sometimes occur if the technique is not executed properly.

    2. Calibrate your watch: Before swimming, make sure your watch is properly calibrated for your stroke type. This can be done by going into the swim settings on your watch and selecting the correct stroke preferences.

    3. Adjust the pool length: Ensure that the pool length setting on your watch matches the actual length of the pool you are swimming in. An incorrect pool length setting can affect the accuracy of stroke detection. christine mcgrath pickleballchristine mcgrath pickleball

    4. Update your watch software: Check if there are any software updates available for your Garmin F945 watch. Updating to the latest firmware can often address bugs or improve the performance of the stroke detection feature.

    It may your help.
