Garnin Connect on pixel 7 lost forerunner 945 device after 12.10 update - unable to repair despite restarting phone (BT on and off), reinstalling Garmin connect and restarting watch. any tips?

My forerunner 945 has been working with my Pixel 7 (and previously pixel 3) without any issues for 3 years. Today i noticed while doing an indoor bike the watch was no longer a listed device in my connect app and it tried to re-set things up. I'm not sure if a new Garmin connect app was pushed to the Google Play store or it's a combination of the 12.10 update.

I am unable to re-setup my Forerunner 945 with my Pixel 7, i've tried:

1. Restarting Phone

2. Restarting Watch

3. Turning BT on and off

4. flipping watch into phone pairing mode on and off.

Any guidance?

Remove the watch from bluetooth in the phone. Open Garmin Connect and add it again.

If that doesn't work you should check the location setting in your Garmin account: https://www.garmin.com/account/profile
For some models incorrect location setting prevents the pairing.
