Altimeter is going crazy

Hello,

Because I have the issue of battery draining out since v12, I performed a soft reset last Friday that did not fix anything.

I noticed that the altimeter is now going crazy.

I live near Paris (altitude around 30m), the watch shows variations from -5K to 48K with a value stabilized aroud 12/15K.

I tried manual calibration and cailibration with GPS with correct values but the altimeter still shows data far away from reality (Sensor mode is Auto).

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Are you at 12 or the most recent 12.1 ? I haven't seen any issues here on activities, howeever just looking at Altimeter at my desk here it says 1200ft and when I look at all my activities so far this week it is 900-950ft at my house... so.... who knows. I have found often when looking at watch outside of activities that the altimeter is off... but... during activities it is good (or is good after watch temperature stabilizes)

The version is 12.1.

Like you, the altimeter widget is wrong (the barometer widget is correct) and during an activity, the altitude and the elevation look almost correct (I guess there is an auto calibration when the GPS is active and locked).
