Have you restarted it after the update? Long press the top left button until it shuts off? Then turn it back on after a bit?

Good morning and thank you for your reply. Affirmative. After I wrote the post I remembered this draining had happened before after an update and I did restart the watch as you described. For now it looks the battery is not draining fast anymore but I'll keep checking it. Next weekend I'm running the Berlin half marathon, my watch has to be functioning fine then.

Hello, I have also a 945 since September 2019. I have made the update to the 12.10 on sunday 26 of March. Since, I can observe that my battery is draining very fast as well. I will try to restart.

I think since the 12.10 the GPS is also missrecorded, had 3 sessions, in 2 no gps track in garmin connect recorded, in the other i stopped,because wrong gps measurements (knew the route and the first kilometer was 150m too early) during the session, reconnect and after that it recorded a track

Hello, the restart of the watch did the tricks. The battery seems now to behave normally.
