After Software update to Version 12 - My watch isn't working properly

Do you see the screen if you turn on the backlight?

Maybe it is the backlight setting that needs to be adjusted or toggled?

After updates some functions may need toggling. I had to toggle the audio prompts since they stopped working. Now they work again.

it’s only on certain screens that it’s dims. So I’m guessing it’s not the backlight. Even when I turn the backlight on it doesn’t improve. I’ve attached a video

Yes, it looks very odd.

My guess is that a factory reset is what you have to do and what I would test.

i think I need to downgrade the software as this all started when I upgraded to the new v.12

See if it is possible to install version 12 again. I'm also running v.12 on my watch and everything works as it should.

I haven't noticed any issues while tracking an activity although to be fair I have been training a bit less since I`m recovering from an injury. Also haven't tried it in open water swimming. What I have noticed though is that throughout the day the watch keeps loosing connection to my phone every hour or so and re-connects after a few seconds. Needless to say this didn't happen with the previous software version.
