My heart rate is suddenly showing wrong all the time after 2 years of working perfectly. Anything I can try to fix it?

Hi guys,

my heart rate is showing too low every run, every hike and every backcountry ski. This only happens during activities. If I am just sitting at home and look at my watch face the heart rate will be correct. So I am sure the monitor itself is not broken. For the last 2 years I always had correct reading during hiking and running. Backcountry skiing was always wrong even before. But now It's wrong with every activity. It will always show around 15-30 less then it should. For example, during a run, I could be running up the steps and I know my heart rate at the moment is 180 cuz I can really feel it, but the watch will show 150 all the time. Any idea what I can do to fix this? I tried updating and resetting the watch but it didn't help. I am pretty sure this is some kind of software problem...
