Garmin 945 Elevation Gain way Out... To Exchange or not?

I've just completed the returns process and the Garmin 945 is ready to be posted all packaged up, reason being is the elevation gain is way off.. I did a track session with 315m gain and the great South Run (flat) 422m gain. Seeing these comments, not sure whether to go ahead, as watch is perfect otherwise and love everything about it. I Don't want to swap it for a refurb when I've taken such good care of my own watch and risk a second hand watch with other issues.

  • By the way, Ive tried everything there is possible to ty to sort out the elevation gain, by following all the advice, but nothing has changed!

  • And nothing will ever change Laughing there are people who have changed 3 and sooner or later the problem recurs, very rarely it is a real failure, they have created a bad algorithm and the measures drift, mine is also like this 'but I keep it, at the replacement they give you a refurbished one that you don't even know how it works.
