forerunner 945 fast battery drain

I've been getting this after the last update. I just tried disabling the bluetooth connection to my phone and that seems to resolved it.

Hopefully they get a fix in for that soon.

Since last GPS update the energy consumption increased. In guided exercise with listening to music jumped from 10%/hr to 22%/hr. In simple tracking with GPS only jumped from 5%/hr to 12%/hr. The reset both soft and hard doesn't help.

This has been my experience as well.  This morning, a 50 minute  GPS-only run this morning took me from 21% down to 5%.

Update - A 47min GPS-only run just now took me down from 100% to 88%.  So on the bright side, it improved from yesterday!  ha ha

After software 11.60 update, when finished a running activity, my 945 will drain all the remain 70% battery within a day.  Until I restart it, it will become normal.

After two years of working perfectly fine version 11.6 update has caused issues, battery drains 25% overnight and now my watch won't connect to my phone. I have tried every possible solution stated - restart, unpair, delete device, factory reset  and even trying on a new and different phone. While the initial bluetooth scan shows the device garmin connect on proceeding the watch does not show the pairing code and garmin connect throws a prompt that it could not connect to the Forerunner 945. This is so frustrating - it has completely upset my morning routine and now I cannot synch any of my activities to Strava.
