GPS Version

I have read in Public Beta Version 11.73 for FR 945 posted 13 days ago that a newer GPS version, 6.60, will be released together with the new Software version.

so far so good.

Today I connected my watch to Garmin Express as I have done many times, at least for the last thirteen days and I got a notice for a new GPS, 5.50, version !!! until now my watch was on 5.40.

I am wondering when 5.50 was released and what could be the issue that I have received it today?

had any one else received this new GPS version in the last thirteen days ?

I also received 5.50 on Friday, I raced on Saturday and everything worked well, maybe the fix was speeded up but to me it has always been fast enough, when they formalize the entire new SW version we will have another one, the important thing that works
