I am the original poster on this issue, so since Garmin Kevin asked us to make another thread so here we are again haha.
1. I have used the 945 Forerunner with Spotify playlists on shuffle for years with no problems.
2. A few weeks ago, my watch updated to a new version.
3. Now playing a playlist with shuffle on - the watch will play one song, then stop playing music entirely, the music screen is black. For me, the problem occurs no matter what headphones are paired. The watch doesn't lose the Bluetooth connection, I still get the audio pace updates through the headphones, it just stops playing music.
4. This problem occurs while recording an activity and also not for me.
5. Another user (77456 or something) suggested hitting skip before the end of the first song, which enables the watch to function normally. The hard part is remembering to do it while focusing on running.
6. If you turn off shuffle, the watch plays the playlist in order with no problems.
7. I submitted my garmin files last time, since nothing has changed since then, they still apply.
