945 stopped working (for good) and reset to default settings is not possible. Replacement?

Well it finally happened. Just shy of two years from purchase the FR945 has stopped working.

The options (Yes and No) when I get to the "Reset default settings?" screen do nothing. I am devastated.

Support ticket pending.

good news. replacement unit being shipped. the old unit is fubar
