FR 945 iphone 16 jabra 85T, distance notification are gibberish and to fast

I have changed my trusty Jabra Pulse to Jabra 85,

My iPhone paired to both FR945 and Jabra 85T plays the Garmin notification in total gibberish and at a to high pitch/ speed. I can't understand the distance and the time is at a to fast forward speed /pitch.

Any suggestions?

    Is it the 945 or Garmin Connect on the phone that is doing the voice alert? Both can do it, but it will only come from the watch if the earbuds are connected to the watch. 

    Garmin Connect on the phone will do the voice alert even with no earbuds connected. Just increase the volume on the phone so you can hear it. See if you get the same gibberish alert without the earbuds.

    Connect the earbuds to the watch and check if you get gibberish from the watch.

    My watch and my Jabra are both connected to the iPhone ios 16, Music directly from FR945 to Jabra 85T good, music from iPhone to Jabra 85T also good, notifications from FR945  to Jabra 85T gibberish...notifications from FR945 to Jbra Pulse all good...

    So its something with the Jabra 85T  and the FR945 or as it is receiving "trough" iPhone...so the earbuds are connected to iPhone and the FR945 aswell...

    The earbuds are only connected to FR945 if you actively connect them to the watch.

    So, voice notifications from the phone to the earbuds are ok or not?

    I will test tomorrow...I usually get my music from my iPhone, not my Garmin...

    • Hi, tested FR945 connected directly to  Jabra85, notification clear correct and perfect, Jabra 85T and FR945 connected to Garmin connect iPhone, bad notifications (same run, stopped and did 2nd leg this way)
    • So it's Garmin FR945 -->2--ios Connect

    HALLELUJAH, had 2 Garmin Connect updates... 1st one fixed the gibberish... by completely not "audioing" them...the 2nd one day later fixed it the 1 KM notification is crystal clear and perfect the 0.5 KM is completely not "done"

    all in all much better.
