Can't set HRM PRO as a footpod

Hi!

I have a quite brand new HRM Pro (not the newest Plus version) with updated firmware so It can work as a footpod indoors.

The problem is that my watch add it only as a Heart Rate, witouth all the settings regarding the footpod feature. I also cant add it as a footpod, it does not detect it.

Fwiw, I am able to connect the HRM Pro direct with Zwift as a pod, but not my Garmin Watch 945.

How can I fix this?

It´s not detected as a Pod, but as the HRM

Yeah I know, but when I check in the Sensors Page, It is connect only as a HR. Theres no option to calibrate, to select as a source speed, etc...

You have to put pace and distance as indoor, and the autocalibration will show. Didn´t got a good result even after one week btw

Think that if it showed (+) as the Garmin Footpod shows, as a independent sensor only for FP, with the possibility of calibrating manually and auto, that would be preferable.

I've checked there already. Asked the same question.

The problem is: I go to "Sensors & Accsssories", Added the HRM Pro. But now I just have Status, Name, Connection Type and Remove. Nothing regarding the footpod function.

Did you update to the last frimware? 8.80?

Yup. As I said, I can connect direclty to Zwift and use it as a pod. I've tested that already.

I can't manage my F945 itselft to use/detected it as a pod.

Did you add it via bluetooth trough garmin connect app? Pairing it on you phone, etc.? Try that way... remove it form your watch first.
