The sleep data is not accurate

The sleep data is not accurate. Awake watching TV shows a "deep sleep". Really bad for this kind of watch. If I knew this before I would had buy a cheaper one.

Is it possible to improve this?

  • Move more when watching tv.

  • How the sleep modes are calculated? Because the heart beat was not similar as when sleeping

  • Who knows. There isn't any single truth to sleep phases, they are just stupid numbers that should be taken as fun numbers and nothing to do with the real hard data that the watch measures.

I could quote Ray on his 955 review: "However, I’m not evaluating sleep phases. If I look at the viable home options to compare sleep stages/phases in terms of accuracy, those devices aren’t that accurate by themselves (only about 80% accurate). We’d never accept comparing other features like optical HR accuracy to an “80% accurate chest strap”, so I won’t accept doing so here. However, I also don’t put much stock in the sleep phase/stage details anyways, so, I’m not too worried about it."

  • I mean, you're likely in a completely passive state during what is set as sleep hours...no surprise it mistakes.

Apart from the fact that sleep data is so-so in general (though the general lines seem fine for me)
