Forerunner 945 ROM error

Hi guys!

I use FR945 about 7 month and recently the watch started to work incorrectly.

Case:

1. when the watch is bluetooth-synced with the wireless speaker and playing music from the watch's internal memory, I start a running workout. After a while, the music stops switching to the next file and stops. In turn, when you press the "LAP" button, the audio prompt about the "lap time and heart rate" are not played

2. sometimes my custom watchFace may not be available and instead I see a standard watchFace

3. Sometimes when playing music from the internal memory of the watch, I start a workout and the watch reboots.

All these problems appeared recently, without any exposure to extreme conditions and software interventions.

What I already tried to do:

1. Factory reset - did not help

2. SW update to 9.60 - did not help

I really hope for your professional help in this difficult situation. I really would not like to be left without internal memory and music while playing sports. Thank you!

My unprofessional suggestion is to contact Garmin support. Don't remember seeming anything related in the forums and if the internal memory is unstable the watch needs to be replaced.

ROM by the way is read only memory, so we are most likely not talking about ROM, but some other non-volatile memory.

Have a similar issue - 945 worked perfectly for 9 months but has become a little unstable with music stopping whilst running and at times the whole watch resetting. Solution is adding music controls to the hot keys menu so that at least the music can be restarted.

For me the issue is intermittent without an identifiable reason - hopefully it is fixed in the next update
