Is there a solution for connecting Sony headphones to 945 successfully

As other people have mentioned there are issues when connecting Sony headphones to garmin watches.

They pair fine but as soon as you enter an activity the connection drops out.

It used to reconnect after a few minutes but since the update it doesn't and the headphones time out and switch off?

Is there a solution or do I need to bite the bullet and buy new headphones?

There has been some issues like this before with headphones that stops working when you start the activity and that was because the headphones were connected as a foot pod sensor. Check the sensors and disable it or remove it if it is connected as a sensor.

Yes, but are they also connected as a sensor?

Sensors and accessories are linked together on the watch menu so the headphones are in that folder.

I think it's a Sony issue tbf.

Ok. So no other sensors connected?

I see that the headphones are listed on its own and not as a sensor. The sensors are listed as sensor type and then the sensor id.

They have only been added as headphones.

They appear in the sensors and accessories folder as all my headphones have. It has only been an issue with the Sony headphones.
