Running Power and Treadmill Running

I bought the HRM Pro and thought I could enable running power on my FR 945? Do I need another HRM or device (e.g. foot pod)? I'm asking for two reasons: 1) I started training with a coach and they are prescribing running power zones. 2) I would love to get accurate data when I run on a treadmill. Any advice would be helpful

  • You need one of the running power apps from the Connect IQ store.

You will need to know where your coach is deriving his running power zones. Stryd footpods calculate running power differently to Garmin anyway. You can calibrate your watch to the treadmill but that is unlikely to be constant across all speeds.
