Garmin Coach Jeff has schedule 2 workouts in one day

I am on week 6 out of 17 with Jeff's half marathon plan. And this week on Tuesday, "he" has scheduled the same workout twice. Two speed intervals workouts in one day. 
And with jeff, you only do three sessions per week and I still have the two remaining workouts planned later that week. So four workouts in one week. 

That must be a bug? I was re-schedule some workouts last week, maybe that could have put things out of order this week? But that seems weird since I did all of my workouts, just on other days. 

  • No solution but having the same issue. Two hill-repeat sessions scheduled for tomorrow. Gonna be running up and down all day :)

    Also Coach Jeff on week 9 of the half marathon plan.

  • You'll be halfway up Mnt.Everest then :) I think I'll just pass on the second one cus I did 19 km run yesterday and if I'll do 2 speed interval workouts (6x800m and some cadence exercises on top of that) in one day, that also will be like 20 km. I think will let my legs rest a bit.

  • I'll see if I can reschedule of of the workouts to another day. It looks like there is only one other workout scheduled after the twin-stack so that would leave a big gap ... can't have that ! Slight smile

  • I had the issue with Coach Greg for today; two Tempo Runs. I ran the first, as my watch only showed a single workout. Completed it and then my watch showed another Temp Run workout (as expected). At that point I simply went into my training plan in Connect Mobile (Android) on my phone, selected that Tempo Workout, selected the three dots menu in the upper right corner and chose "Remove". Everything seemed to adjust as expected. Not seeing any odd fallout at this time.

  • Well, I wasn't brave enough to try removing it prior to seeing how things played out. At least after the fact it didn't seem to cause issue with my plan. So, should I encounter this in the future I'll just remove the duplicate when I first see it.

  • I ended up separating the twins by moving one workout to another day ... In case you want to keep your 3 workouts/week routine.
