If you log a walking workout does it count the steps and calories twice? So if I do 10,000 steps in a day but out of that 5000 was on a walking work out does it log the workout calories and the step calories?

Not sure if that makes sense, I just got the watch. If you do log a 1 hour hike using the walking workout does it count the calories for that walk as well as the calories from the 6000 steps? Let's say it's 100 calories on the workout but also 100 calories on the step counter does it go to your daily total as 200 calories?
