Any way to change Run FTP in 945 watch?

It seems each time I do a run, and the data is uploaded to Today's Plan SW, I get a message from Todays plan that there is a "Head Unit data Mismatch "  and that the 945 is reporting my Run FTP as 200, when my stride footpod has critical Power set to about 265 which is correct.  I spoke to someone at Todays plan and they told me that this value of "200" is coming over in the Garmin fit file.   I have never seen on the watch anywhere to set/change a Run FTP.

Its not a big deal, mainly an annoyance.

  • This sounds like an issue with Today's Plan rather than Garmin or the 945.

I run with a Stryd footpod, have a CP (different but similar to FTP) set and I have never gotten that message, but I do not use Todays Plan. Stryd Powercenter, Runalyze, FinalSurge, and Sporttracks are a few that I have connected.

  • I have the stryd as well with a different CP.  The Todays Plan support told me the "ftp200" was in the garmin fit file sent, and the last time I went around with them on this they said they would disable that error message.  I guess I will have to ask them again.  If the coaching group I use did not use Todays Plan I would dump it and go back to Training Peaks.  I have never been successful finding any setting in Garmin for run specific FTP,  my bike FTP is at 245 and that is shown correctly in all my devices and all SW packages.  Not a big deal to worry about, but occasionally I try to dig in to figure out what the problem is,

  • Garmin doesn't natively support power for running activities so you're not going to find any way to set that as an FTP outside of some CIQ thing.
