GPS fix issue

I got my 945 two months ago. It was all good until 3 days ago.

The GPS "ring" is stuck in orange/yellow color. It never turns green.

I tried all kinds of stuff, checking CPE current and sync using Garmin Express. I also put in the backyard for soaking 10 min. No luck.

I did run with the orange "ring" and the GPS tracking seems ok.

Should I check with Garmin for warranty replacement (1 month warranty left)?

I had the same issue, switching the watch off and on again solved it for me.

i have exacly the same problem (beside i have no warranty already). No fix yet. I blame cloudy sky...

I contacted garmin support and was asked to do a hard reset.

after that, it started to work. not sure if hard reset or better weather helps, though.

a power on/off solves it too. (if not, then the soft reset for sure). It is a well-known bug (for me) since Fenix3... (something is wrong in the common code and they couldnt fix yet...)

I had the same problem. A soft reset fixed it temporarily. A few days later it was the same problem again. Did a soft reset again and now it is back to normal (hopefully it stays ok now). Never seen this problem before the latest update.

Weather is largely irrelevant for GPS
