Hi,
I was wondering if anyone tried pairing the Jaybird Vista 2 with the Forerunner. I saw a lot of bad reviews on Jaybird Vista 1, but saw no comments on Vista 2. If not, which one you recommend for a lot of sports?
REgards,
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone tried pairing the Jaybird Vista 2 with the Forerunner. I saw a lot of bad reviews on Jaybird Vista 1, but saw no comments on Vista 2. If not, which one you recommend for a lot of sports?
REgards,
I have the Jaybird Vista 2 that I'm using with my 945 LTE. Initially, the only issue I had was static occurring as soon as I would start a GPS activity. I switched my watch to my left wrist and forced the left earbud to be the "master" earbud. Since then, there have been no issues.
And about sound quality, how is it? My question is because I'm between these or Jabra Active Elite 75t (or 85t, but I need kind of heavy duty earbuds)
Sound quality is great on the Jaybirds. They have a bit of a kick in the bass compared to jabra. Of course, that is a very subjective opinion. I've also had the Jabra 65t and was very pleased with those. Eventually the battery would no longer hold more than about a 2-hour charge, so needed some new headphones. The main reason I went with the Jaybird was the black Friday discount being offered. I would be happy with either brand.
Just an update - please see this e-mail from Jaybird:
"We have been getting reports of the connectivity issues you are experiencing with your Garmin watch for quite some time now, unfortunately. Our engineers have been in contact with Garmin regarding the issues, and Garmin initially had a firmware update that was put out that was supposed to fix the issue, but didn't. Since then, Garmin has let us know that they are working on a fix and that it should come in the form of another firmware update, but it hasn't happened yet.
I am so sorry for the inconvenience! Going forward, I would continue to keep an eye out for a firmware update for your watch, and hope that they fix it this time around.
Vista 2 works well with other running watches except for Garmin. Garmin watches has an issue with the compatibility with Vista 2 software, We need to wait for the Garmin to come up with the software update for your watch to resolve the connection issue. I would like to inform you that issue does not lie with the Vista 2."
Still an issue with the JB 2.
Thanks for the info. I'm using the jaybird vista 2 since last November. First with the 945LTE and now with the epix. Strangely (and fortunately) have not had any issues.
