Need to push the start button 4X to start the timer.

At the beginning of every run, I need to push the start button 4 x times before the timer continues. I push the start, then the double bars come up and beeps and the timer stops. On the fourth time the timer run normally. Don't know why the timer will not continue on the first start.

Do you have autopaus enabled? Turn if off.

Do you wait until you get green GPS before you press start? Always wait until you get the green bar at the top before you press start.

My thought is that if you don't wait until green gps and have autopaus enabled the watch thinks that you are standing still and stops the activity.

I never noticed if there was a green bar at the top. I'll try it out on today's run.
