Lost GPS while running at 25Km and didn't acquire it anymore for other 17Kms

During my last race, a marathon in Ravenna, my garmin forerunner 945 lost GPS signal after 25Km. Then it continued to work with internal accelerometer (I suppose, because I had pace and distance info), then it acquired signal again for few seconds at 31Km and then it lost signal again.

So I run my last 17Km without signal.

I analyzed .FIT file and there aren't gps datas from 25Km except for a few points ad 31Km.

Do you know if there is a bug that disable gps if it loose signal for a lot of time (20-30 minutes)?

pretty weird, i ran several marathons using the 945 will both official fw and occasionally with the betas as well and what you've described never happened. massimodelucca even if your cpe wasn't really…

I was in a group initially and then alone. But anyway it was a race.
it lost signal outside. It was cloudy but I was far from the city.
All SW was up to date
I didn't sync garmin express with my forerunner when I moved from my house to marathon location, so probably CPE wasn't up to date
I used 2 CIQ: GARMIN RUNNING POWER and EXACT PACE DATAFIELD
I used EXACT DATA PACE FIELD in 1 page and GARMIN RUNNING POWER in another page

pretty weird, i ran several marathons using the 945 will both official fw and occasionally with the betas as well and what you've described never happened. massimodelucca even if your cpe wasn't really up to date this shouldn't be of impact at km 27. i wouldn't do a full reset, i'd rather go for a hard reset (the 20seconds power button press) and see what happens.

Did you have auto pause on?
