These headphones are useless with Garmin ForeRunner 945. They have issues connecting. Once they are connected they lose connection easily. Useless with Garmin Forerunner 945.

Make sure that you don't have any other devices they will connect to close. For example your phone or computer. Turn off bluetooth on those devices if they are close (within 10 meters). Then turn on the headphones and try to connect to FR945.

I usually have issues connecting my bluetooth headphones to FR945 if I bring my phone out on my run. I need to turn off bluetooth on the phone and then turn on the headphones. After that they will connect witth the watch right away. It is usually pointless to connect headphones to the watch when I got the phone. Better use the phone instead and use the watch to control music on the phone.
