Amazon has replacements relatively cheap. They're called fastener rings, various items compatible with different bands. If you can't get something helpful from Garmin might try that route.
I reckon you didn’t save the box and packaging? Mine broke a ways back but there was a spare in the box.
I've contacted Garmin support through the website for the exact same thing and they were kind enough to send me 2 replacement rings for free.
