Recovery Time Delayed alert

12 months ago, a thread on this subject was created. I see no answer. Here is what happens: at random times, including when I first wake up in the morning after a good nights sleep, I get a Recovery Time Delayed message on my 6X Pro. Scrolling down, the recovery time is always in days, generally 4 days. In other words, the message is totally bogus. To figure out where this nonsense is coming from, I turned off my phone and disabled all connectivity (WiFi, BT, etc.) on the 6X. The message still pops up. So, it is being generated by the 6X itself. Any ideas on how to disable it?

  • After the exercise you get a page with VO2 max and recovery time. Of course the previous recovery time is delayed by your exercise but it would be pointless to alert you about that since you just got information about the new recovery time.

  • I think you guys are focusing on the Connect app. I have isolated this and it is NOT coming from Connect. I just got a message this morning, Here are my stats: HR 105-50, Pulse OX 91%, sleep score 37. Recovery Time 4 days.

  • I never get these messages, any suggestions?

  • Maybe your recovery never is delayed. I get them very rarely. I got one for a week ago, but I can't even remember when I got it before that.

  • sleep score 37

That is a really really low score. No wonder that you get delayed recovery. Why is it that low? A more "normal" low score should probably be around 75.

The recovery is calculated by the watch and also the delay message. I don't see anyone claiming Connect is doing anything.

What you use Connect for is to easily see your stress, sleep and sleep score over time. It also easier to see your HR zones and why you get long recovery times. Since you think 4 days is a long recovery you should try to find the reason to why it is that long. Use Connect for that.

  • Don't think that I have ever got one, I just have got the reverse - that my recovery has been shortened when I have slept well or been "still" during the day.

No we are not. I got it today :(

Yesterday big 1h20min VO2max training in the evening (night orienteering) and it was kind of hard to get to sleep as body was not feeling ready to go to sleep. But did have about 6 hours of sleep which is too little and sleep score was 45. I then fixed the time when I woke up really and the score was 39 after that. But the alert came with that 45 score.

So seems to be just normal.
