Stains on glass

Hi all, the glass on my watch has been stained.

It happened after an afternoon in a pool on holiday.

I don't now if the stains are caused by chlorine, or just the hardness of the water.

Anybody has had a similar issue, any tips on repairing my beautiful 945?

Was so happy that, after more than a year, the watch still did not have any scratches on it.

Kind regards,
Nick

  • Lol why would you take it in the hot tub xD That is not a stain. The anti glare has been damaged. Sorry man that sucks Confused

  • Not to be a stupid question, but have you tried cleaning the watch with dish soap? Similar looking grease smudges happen frequently in my watch. Dishsoap has always done the trick.

Why would you laugh (Lol) at someone's misfortune and assume he took it in a hot tub when he clearly said it was in a pool?

I've had similar stains due to hard water in my area.  As already suggested, a drop of dish soap should do the trick.

  • Hi all, thank you for your replies. Using dish soap did not work unfortunately. The watch has been returned to Garmin now and they are taking care of it :-)
