Screen colors seem to be off

I bought my Garmin forerunner 945 a couple of days ago. I had a screen protector on it and at first I thought colors here a little bit off because of it, but after taking it off an comparing it to videos, the colors seem a little bit off especially indoors.

The brightness is set up to 50%, in camera it seems to look better, but with brightness at 100% inside the colors are even worse. It might just be that I'm not used to this kind of displays but I want to be sure.

It might just be normal, just wanted to be sure, cause I have no idea how the screen if suppose to look compared to other types of watches.

The 945 has a MIP (Memory In Pixel) display, and not OLED/LCD like other brands. Compare the 945 to others in bright sun and the difference is obvious. It also allows the display to always be on. You also won't have to charge the 945 as often as devices with a different type of display,

Seems fine. It's not an LED-based screen technology (thankfully, as it means less charging required) and this is normal. Having extended use of the watch is much more important in sports than a flashy, brightly-coloured screen, IMO.

Agree with the other posters. As a sports watch, it is intended to be viewable in direct sunlight without (battery sucking) backlight. This is the opposite to most other modern screens, which are great indoors, but suck outdoors.

Thank you for the help! I'm just getting used to the watch and wanted to be sure that everything is ok. And I agree, is much better to have good battery life and performance, than a bright color screen.
