8.02 Beta

I've been running 8.02 beta for 2 days now and I've only done 2 outdoor runs which seem to work okish. A couple of nuances of this release which I haven't seen before

1. My Custom CIQ Datafield is not showing cadence. I added a separate cadence datafield and it works fine and the data is recorded in GC fine. It's just not working in my own CIQ Datafield

2. Spike in HR for a short period of time while running, using the watches HRM. I've been using the watch HRM for over a year when outdoor running and have not seen this before.

I'm still trying to see what the issue is or if I can reproduce it before reporting to the beta team.

Yes. 8.02 is going to always be beta. The version number changes for non-beta releases and the last digit has been always 0. And as there is now 8.09 beta, that is also going to be beta forever and the…

Can confirm. The OWS bug with pausing and resuming will in fact corrupt the file. Has anyone been able to repair it successfully?

Is this firmware update going to remain in beta forever?

Yes. 8.02 is going to always be beta. The version number changes for non-beta releases and the last digit has been always 0. And as there is now 8.09 beta, that is also going to be beta forever and the release version is most probably 8.10.
