Make sure that you have allowed all permissions on the phone for the Connect app. The most important permission is "Location". Some people turn that off since they don't think that Connect needs it.
Weather data is fetched from the phone. Make sure Connect is not under power/battery management. It must be allowed to run in the background. Do not kill Connect or have any apps that kills other apps.
