Good afternoon! Today I damaged my Forerunner 945 that I recently purchased on Facebook Marketplace. The watch was purchased back in December of 2020 but at the moment I’m not sure if it’s still covered under warranty. I literally cracked the glass and scratched the plastic near the glass. Anyone know how much it will cost to repair? Also, if the watch is still under warranty, can they get that info with the serial #? Any help with this would be appreciated.
So good news! Garmin will be sending me a replacement 945 at a super cheap price. I’m honestly surprised. I’m guessing they’re feeling generous????? It’s either that or the 955 is right around the corner…

There are more than a few posts praising Garmin Support. No need to be surprised.
In some geographies warranty can be transferred to the second owner. Garmin Support will be able to tell you if there is warranty left based on the serial number.
But damaged glass is almost certainly not…
