Should uploading courses and workouts from the app work while data upload is off?

I have data upload set to off, and I have never been able to upload workouts or courses to the FR945 with Connect Mobile. But with a Fenix 5 Plus on the same account that works just fine. Is transferring workouts/courses when data upload is off, supported by the FR945? From the manual and help texts in the app it seems it should be possible, but I'm not totally sure.

Hmmm. Not sure I've ever got data of any watch with data upload off or when there's been not connection (via mobile or wifi) to the interweb.

I'll have to do some checking now...

Thanks for looking into it! It's fixed already though - by deleting all the existing workouts on the FR945. Why didn't I think of that sooner...

When you say workout you mean custom workouts with steps to follow as opposed to completed activities? There’s been a limit of 20 (I think) since Adam was a toddler.

I did mean structured workouts, indeed. I guess the limit is 30, because that's exactly how many I had.

It's been a bit boring this last year, running in the same flat area day after day, so I've gone overboard a bit with interesting workouts ;-)

The way around the limitation is to schedule the workouts in the calendar from GCM or GC Interweb. Yes, I can imagine being restricted. We've been lucky in NZ in that respect.
