Open intervals coming to 945 non lte?

When watching the DCR video about the 945 lte I came across a new feature, open intervals. This is something I really like to have on a 945. Anyone insights if this feature is coming to 945?

The optical HR sensor is upgraded to the newest generation, the actual watch is a few mm slimmer, and the gps chipset maybe upgraded also, but Garmin won't confirm the last part

I was wondering the same thing. It is "interesting" that the 945LTE has its own section in the forums, and it's not bundled with this forum...

I had no idea the 945 LTE has extra features that are not related to LTE...is there any other difference between the 2 watches?
