V7.2 Connect IQ fields still not working with the STRYD powermeter

After updating to version 7.2 on my Forerunner 945 the Stryd powermeter has stopped working correctly. In the beginning it says that there is a connection but it doesn't show any power metrics. After a couple of seconds it start's to disconnect and connect again for a while. After some time the STRYD connect IQ screen shows Connect IQ failed!

Are there more people out there with connect IQ problems using software 7.2?

    Hi,

    For me it's working correctly. I'm using the Stryd Zones Datafield. I'm also using during my run the screen DU8-10c0 Datarun Ultimate.

    I've made a big long run this sunday and everything was fine.

    Hi, thanks for your feedback! In the FIT file the powerdata was recorded for the first 17 minutes but it didn't show on my watch during the run. Very strange and glad to hear positive news that yours is working correctly! Will re-install everything from STRYD and hope for the best...

    Mine is also working fine.  I have used both the DU7 Datarun data field (with power alerts on) as well as the 80/20 datafield (with Stryd zones as the 2nd CIQ field) and both were fine.  I've also done a run using the Stryd Workout app and no issues.  Good luck.

    I have made a run of about 4 hours.

    I have checked my fit file with Fitfilerepair tool. The file contains about 14135 records.

    Only the first 3 records have 0 W (first 3 seconds). All the rest of the records have a power value.

    I had a 3h 15min long run this weekend and after 2h Stryd disconnected and never reconnected (i.e. only power data for the first 2h). Haven't seen connection issues for a long time (1.5-2 years). So it could be something with the 7.2 firmware. Hopefully I do not see it again... 

    I could make an offline sync afterwards and see power data for whole run, so nothing wrong with the Stryd pod.

    It also works for me, both Stryd Zones DF and DU8-10c0.  I always do a long Light button press until the watch turns off, after each sw update.

    I would start with that, then go into sensors and check their status. Do you also attach stryd as a FP, Power  or you let Stryd Zones take care of everything?  You could also try removing, and re-adding datafields, sensors. If you only care about watts and no pace, dist from stryd, then no sensor needs to be added. Stryd Zones takes care of the connection.

    The fix for me was to delete everything reboot and reinstall everything according to the STRYD video's description. Since then worked flawless! Think it's important to follow every step and do it 100% correctly.

    Mine works just fine. After every update I always do reboot the FR and Smartphone, just in case…
