Does built-in analog watch face have option to display real time (1 hz) HR data?

i haven't been able to find this in Garmin's limited documentation on the web nor in any of the reviews.

i currently have a 935 where it seems that only the digital CIQ watch faces are capable of displaying 1hz HR data due to screen refresh/power constraints. i was hoping that Garmin's built in face might have this feature.

[i'm now considering the 945 since the 945 LTE doesn't really offer me any added functionality over the 945... my 935 altimeter has been wonky of late and i would love the map features of the 945]

  • AFAIK, all the Garmin stock watch faces are designed to minimize power consumption, which means no 1 Hz refresh rate. The widget glance for HR does show real time HR.

  • bummer. i know that the stock faces use less power since they are natively stored on silicon and programmed very efficiently. i also thought they had incorporated 1hz HR on the Fenix 6 face so i thought it might have spilled over to the 945. i am happy with the battery consumption of the JBlack face on my 935 which has both digital seconds and 1hz HR, but was hoping for an analog face that could do something similar. from what i understand, coding a 1hz HR to get under the power consumption window is a little tricky with regard to masking and having a second sweep that constantly updates too.
