Strava syncing issue

Hi,

I recently purchased a Garmin 945 for my wife. It syncs with todays plan and connect no problem but will not sync with strava. I have set up all the relevant permissions via Strava and Garmin connect but it will not push workouts automatically to Strava. i have tried disconnecting and reconnecting without any luck.

Has anyone had a similar problem? How did they resolve it?

What do you mean by workouts? Completed activities? Only completed activities that have been uploaded to GCM or GC Interweb will sync to Strava

Strava Sync is not working reliably at the moment, I also experience problems. Roughly the half of my activities is not synced.

In connect web, you can export the original file and then upload it to Strava, there is no way to get it automatically there if it wasn’t synced the first time.

Yes completed activities I.e she goes for a run, saves it , it uploads to GC and TP but not Strava.

Thanks but this seems ridiculous given the price of the product. I assume it is not a problem with Strava as they have not reported any server problems. My edge seems to be working fine.

Thanks for the answer I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same problem?

Connectivity to 3rd parties is nothing to do with the price of the product. If the activity is saved on the watch and syncs fine within the Garmin infrastructure then it’s working. Garmin supply the tools to analyze data. It’s personal choice to involve a 3rd party app for analysis or social interaction.

Have you asked Strava? Both my wife and I are syncing activities from a 945, F6, and Instinct to Strava.

If you have a separate Strava account perhaps try swapping around for an activity - just do a test activity.

Oh, and check with Strava.
